  1. This is version 3.03a of Frank Canova's Extended Batch Language 
  2. (EBL).  This "shareware version" of the EBL package contains only 
  3. the BATFUNC1.COM file of extended functions and the only 
  4. documentation provided is via the BATDOC.BAT and BATDOC2.BAT 
  5. files.  For these, and the BATDEMO.BAT file, to work properly all 
  6. files provided should be on you default directory.  Then type in 
  7. the command BATDEMO to get things started.

  9. Registered users receive a large (330+ page) bound manual and 
  10. other extended function additions mentioned in the online 
  11. documentation.

  13. Part of EBL is a resident portion of the BAT.COM program that 
  14. will take up some of your machine's memory after the first EBL 
  15. batch file is executed.  The command BAT /K will remove most of 
  16. the memory used, but a small portion will be permanetly taken 
  17. until the next time DOS is booted
